Will an S14 front LCA fit in a S13 for a 5 lug swap keeping in mind you have to have S14 balljoints in an S13 LCA for the swap? I have one side bolted in and everything appears to be in the right place. I just want to check before I do the other side. I searched but nothing matched this situation.

Yes it will work. It'll give you a little more negative camber since the s14 LCA is slightly longer.

From what I gather the S14 is about 5mm longer than the S13 LCA. Itll just make your track a total of 10mm wider.

edit...beaten to the punch.

10mm longer per side, so 20mm total track width. You will definitely have to get an alignment, the toe will seriously out of spec.

Are the stock steering arms long enough to correct for the extra length?

they should be long enough, if not it wouldn't hurt to get new ones anyways.

So you're putting a s14 lca on your s13. But you're installing a s13 ball joint into the s14 lca? Why?

If you're using the s14 lca, use the s14 spindle and then drill out your suspension mount so you can use the s14 bolts to bolt the spindle to the shock.

Maybe I'm just reading it wrong...

You'll gain hella toe and some negative camber. Like said prior.

Mel, its manageble tho, its what I have on my car.

I'm not putting s13 ball joints in a s14 lca I was only noting that s14 ball joints are required when using an s14 spindle for a 5 lug swap. How much negative camber are we talking? The best I can calculate using rough suspension geometry measurements is about a degree.
