Does removing the fender require removal of the front bumper or doors (to access nuts/bolts)?
And how important is it to have the wheel well lining in a car? I'm thinking of removing mine as one of them is damaged (and has a gaping hole from rubbing the tire). Are any special tools or parts required?

1. Remove the front bumper.
2. Remove the headlamp lens assembly.
3. Remove the front wheel inner splash shield.
4. Remove the rocker panel trim, as necessary.
5. Remove the hood, as necessary.
6. Locate and remove the fender mounting bolts and clips.
7. Carefully remove the fender from the vehicle.
8. Installation is the reverse of removal.
9. Carefully align the fender to allow proper clearance to open the front door.
The steps are from Chilton Manual

Thanks for the info.

I should probably pick up one of those manuals (better yet the FSM) some day soon. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
