help with my apexi TT install PLZ

ok i juss about finished up all the wiring for my TT install. now the car will not start. i get power to the TT and the car in the ON position but the car will not start. did i make a mistake wiring somewhere?
also, my key does not come out anymore. could it be that my car was once an automatic? btw im still using the auto ECU
i wired the o2 wire to the "grey/white stripe" wire on the ecu
i wired the grnd wire to the "black/white stripe" wire on the ecu
i have the harness for the TT connected to the plug underneath the steering column
any1 have anny ideas what could be the problem?

ok that was a dumb mistake. i did not plug the ECU back in :P. please disregard my poor excuse for a life.
but now my only problem is that my key will not come out. the button to release the key does not pop out unless the timer shuts off the car. would it matter that my car was a 5spd conversion?

anyone?? is there a way around this? or can i disable the pushkey button mechanism? any input is appreciated thanks
