i need to pull my 5lug hubs off my old 240....but i cant figure out how to get the black hub cap off of the wheel bearing lock nut, anyone know how do this i need these off asap...I know I fail at life on this one

flat head screw driver and pry that BZ off. Im assuming r talking about the dust cap. however if ur not and are talking about the slip on castleated thing you just have to take out the cotter pin first.

take the cotter pin out first and use a flat head screw driver gently take it out...if its stuck then use a flat head screw drift and a hammer and hit it couter clock wise and drive it out with the thread....if that doesnt work then..i fail at life too...:duh:

ok in this picture on the one that is in the lower right on my car theres like a hard cover over the hole in the middle if that makes sense

Yea, that would be your dust cap...just use a flathead to pry it from the hub as someone already said. If that doesn't cut it...break out the hammer :D

so i got the dust cover off, wondering if anyone can tell me what size ratchet head you need to take off the big nut underneath? I was under the impression it was a 36mm but thats too big, looks like a 32mm but wondering if anyone can confirm it before i need to make another useless trip to autozone

Yeah just checked, front is 32mm, sorry about that, all I did was grab the last socket I used and put that down. Now I'm just another one of those punks misinforming people.
