a little off topic...why wont my avatar work

when i first registered i put up an avatar..tiny240.gif and after it loaded there was no custom option for me to use it..so then i uploaded it to a website and used personal. every now and then ill go to my profile and try to load it and whenever i go there it will say previous and the pic wont be there, but the "x" thing will be the right size. one or two time it actually did show up though. if one of the moderators, or anyone could help me i would really appreciate it.

Check the policy with your image hosting site. A lot of services nowadays dislike outside image hosting, meaning, it has to be on a website or page hosted by that particular service for the images to work. I suggest signing up for homestead.com. They usually allow outside linking.

well i actually have a website on that account. but that pic isnt on any of the pages.

Yea, but some services don't allow "outside linking".
