As the title says. Will it fit? If not, what needs to be done. a 255/40/17 is the plan. maybe a 265 or 275 as well, but I am opting for 255 for now.

No doubt that'll be just fine on the rear, but I am wondering about the front. I want to run a 17x10 +12 on the front.

According to tirerack's offset calculator, and this is purely theoretical of course and probably not accurate hence the reason I'm asking. It says that if I had a 6" +45 rim (well I put in the stock rim sizes, I am not running stock rims, I'm running gtr 16" rims) and I jump to a 10" +12 that I'll be losing 18mm on the inside. This is all theory so I don't know.

Help me out guys.

i think djpimpflex has 17x10 fns on the front of his s13. it takes work to not rub at full lock. that's the problem. plus, the PS pump wont like you.

SEARCH. I know for a FACT there is a subject already on it. Why? Cause I asked the same thing. There is like 5-6 Pages IIRC.

Here's 17x10 +12 w/ another 8mm spacers to clear MR coilovers. S14 on stock fenders pulled so much that I had to use bondo to smooth it out. 235/40 tires, banged the wheel well a bit, no rubbage inside.

everyone says this will fit that would fit, but no one said would the car be able to make a U turn?
or how much of the inside you would have to hammer to clearn when you turn.
form over function

My friends who drift at the track rub at full lock with 17X9 in the front I can allready imagine how bad those 10's up front will hit and rub all over the inner fender wells.

Yes it will fit, you can do a u-turn, and if u want to fit big wheels front or rear sometimes u gotta get out the sledge. 10j up front is definately form over function. But it looks damn good and my power steering pump didnt fail on me so its all good (and i have a few spares just in case haha)

I've run 9, 9.5, and 10 up front. The offset and tires size will make a difference.

I can do u-turns...the better question is can I go over humps? :duh:

Also it all depend on how low you want it what size tires. Like I said I had to stretch 235/40s. When i had 245s, it was rubbing all over the place and i have an 8mm spacer up front. Again this is on a S14, eating the chassis wiring harness would probably the biggest concern I have out of this.
