i have a pair of 18x9.5 +30 nismo lmgt4 and plan on using 265/35/18 tires for the rears on my s14. just want to hear people opinion/experience if they will fit.

i am running nismo r tune coilovers and rolled my fenders. i was running 17x9 +15 235/45/17 and seemed to clear very nice but doesnt seem like i would clear 255 wide tires. i got no multi link in the rear so cant add camber.

any input would be great.

thanks,
jon

I run 9", +22 with 255/40-17 and only a minor roll.

You don't count because you aren't low.

an 18x9.5 +30 won't stick out a lot further than what you have now, but those tire sizes probably won't allow it without camber. If you're firm on the tire size, you should look into getting some adjustable rucas.

I have 18x10 +30 with 245-40-18 in rear with no pull or headaches. Thats a really wide tire in the rear. I hope you have enough power to make those babies spin! :)

I don't think he's looking to spin them.

they should fit with suspension adjustments. the tire(not the wheel) will come out as far as 2/35/40/18 tires mounted on a 18x9.5 + 12. again i am talking about tire clearance with suspension adjustments.

I am running the LMGT4's, same size with a 10mm spacer and 245's in the rear, I had to roll my fenders just barely to clear under full compression. This is on stock RUCA's with Tein HE's so camber is helping at about -2 degree's.

yea im just worried about the tire being to wide and not clearing my coils. mybe i should run 245's but i want wide since these rims are my gripping/daily set up.

with my 17x9 +15 235/45/17 i can barely fit my pinky between the tire and coils but that was when the wheels weren't on the ground

they clear, as I just test fitted the same wheels with a 275 tire. The tire stuck out slightly, but didn't hit suspension or anything.

Lol... Why does everyone think you need JDM CRAZY MAD POWER to run a wide tire? Theres nothing wrong with running a 265 or even 275 wide rear on a STOCK KA... It's called grip...
