Headlight problem

The problem is that the driver headlight went out on me. I just started the car that night and the driver head light started flickering and then it went out. On my drive home it would sometimes turn on agian then it goes out. Also when I accelerate fast or when im stop and i rev my motor the passenger headlight will start flickering. I know its not the headlights because they some times turn on.

Earlier that day the only irregular thing that i did was run my car without the battery. Took it off in order to help my brother get his car home since his alternator craped on him. Maybe thats what cause the problem. What could have been affected? Thanx in advance.

Just have to start checking wires. Something is loose or grounded somewhere.

I just finished searching and found out that one of the connections that are attach to the positive side of the battery came halfway out since the small clip that holds it together is broken.
