my friend bought a KU for his rb25. i got his running before doing my own (i was running a custom made one)

anywho, before i ended up getting a true GReddy cause my custom one kept cracking i had heard something about the knock off's not flowing to cylinder 6 correctly. low and behold my friend with the KU blows his motor up after it runs for a month, he takes it apart, and there's a hole the size of a quarter in his number 6 piston....granted he was running 20psi of boost but still, uber boost just exaggerated the problem of not flowing to the last cylinder properly....in his case i would have to say the "rumor" could be true, or could just be coincidence *shrug. i don't know if there's any similar problem if you use knock offs for sr20's but honestly no matter what i drive, if i plan on keeping the thing i'd rather wait and get the real deal. not only has a lot of R & D went behind the thing, it's tried and true, but what it's designed to do, it does better than the cheap copy cats. just my 2 cents, i hope everything works out well for you. =]

if your gonna buy the jun style manifold buy the pnt performance one. Quality is alot better than the ku engineering.

Thats pretty nice. Now if only I could find a mani for the KA24E...

But yeah, that looks clean. Do you know for sure how much of a diff it made on a dyno?

yea it would be a nice upgrde 4 a kade. if u got aluminum runners you could chop the sr odd and have the ka ones welded on. using the stock ka flanger and new short runners.

unfortunatly i never havn;t had the car running to dyno it yet. in due time iwill tho and i will post my sheet. altho i will be running a meth kit as well.
