View Full Version : S14 Intercooler Piping on S13? HELP!

Hey guys, I recently bought a intercooler kit from ebay (Yeah, I know.. should of spent the money but :gives: ) and instead of sending me the piping for a S13 they ended up sending me piping for a S14.. After calling them and chewing them out for it they said that the S14 IC piping can be used with some modification on to work on the S13 chassis..

Has anybody ever done this? ANY input would be greatly appreciated...

and yes, I searched but came up with nothing relevant. So if there is an existing thread feel free to throw it in here! thanks!!:eek3d:

That is true it can be made to work. What motor do you have? That is what you need to worry about. The different intake manifolds change the piping up. Good Luck

the hot pipes are completely different so ur probably gonna have to find a way to route the pipe to the intercooler by cuttin some holes or something.

dont be forced to rig some bullshit.

they sent the wrong shit so send it back and exchange it or get your money back. That or leave the almighty negative feedback....that oughtta teach em.

^^^ true that. S14 and S13 fmic pipings are totally different and the hotpipe location is different also. So call them, threaten them, or suck it up and just get your hands on the s13 pipings. GL

Get them to send you the correct piping. That's what you paid them for.

EDIT: I just made my 666th post on a Friday the 13th. lol :ugh: :bite:

Im running a redtop SR20det... I contacted the company and they gave me a BS runaround that the S13 pipings were sent back to China because of a defect so they sent S14...

They wont replace it. HOW RETARDED IS THAT :(

I'd rather know what I have to do to get it to work... what bends, etc are needed. or pics.

If I were you I would just sell the S14 kit before it gets damaged or wrecked trying to fit it on an S13 and buy an S13 kit from another seller.

you need a longer coupler from the TB to the pipe

and its a TIGHT fit
