Clutch Pedal Assembly

Is the clutch pedal suppose to snap back? I am talking about a assembly that off the car and my pedal snaps back when I push it a bit. It's normal right?

From the looks of things the pedal assembly look completely normal and there seems to no wear on the pedal spring.

I just wanted to check cause I was curious.
