okay,
I have a s14 with s13 pumkin, os 2way, s13 axles. the problem is, the axle along with the output shaft(since they are bolted together) pops out of the diff about once every 50miles or so of regular driving. I simply have to jack the car up and push it in, but it's continuously poping out. I was wondering if the axle is missing a key that locks into the diff but I didn't see any key in tech manual. Do I have the wrong axles or is my lsd messed up?

there are rings on the end of the input side that should snap into the actual diferential, they don't really come out though so I doubt your missing it

maybe the s13 axles are a little shorter than s14????

S13 axles are a hair shorter.

Holy shit. That is really weird and scary. I would check that I was using the proper shafts. Then I would take the diff apart and check the torque specs on the bolts inside the diff; should be around 88 fott pounds.

I can measure them tomorrow if I don't get too drunk tonight and forget.
