S14 motor with s15 harness?

Trying to complete my swap to find out i have an s15 harness and my motor is an s14. so i'm told i need an s15 ecu or need to get an s14 harness. So i need to trade my new s15 harness for a new s14 harness. or buy an s15 ecu.
my question is can the s15 harness infact work onthe s14 with the s14 ecu?
if not i need some ideas.

you need a s14 harness, not an s15 ecu. the s15 ecu may not wirk with your engine ( bigger injectors turbo blah blah ) if the harness hooks up to the ecu you have then it should be fine.

they are the same engines. If you use a s15 harness you must use a s15 ecu. you cannot mix and match. you can also use the late model kouki maf they are the same as the s15 maf.

To use an S15 harness assuming it's for a Spec R you'll need:

- QT ECU
- S15 MAF
- S15 440cc injectors
- S15 Coilpacks
- Possibly some other things but those would be the obvious to make the engine run with the ECU.

All of the above could be gotten from Japan (used) for close to 400-500 shipped I'm sure.

I would just look for the correct harness for the motor unless you want to wait and source the parts needed to go S15.
