I have 300z brakes on the rear of my s13 now and wanted to know if stock s14 rear brake lines will work for the rear???

They will work but they will be a bit stretched. might need to make a bracket to reach the hardline. better off with aftermarket stainless steel lines.

They won't. S13/S14 rears use a banjo line.

Dammit, I wish I had a pic of my old S14 300zx rear upgrade for ya. Yeah it will work, you have to cut the original brake line bolt to fit the Z32 rear caliper. IIRC it was about 1/4" removed, then get some new washers and tighten that crap good. Worked for me until I could afford new SS conversion lines.

As far as the S14 lines working on an S13, they will reach but freakin barely....they will be stretched and will most likely break.

S13/S14 brake lines are the same length. Exact same.
Either set will work on Z32 calipers *but* the banjo bolt is too long to seal against the caliper and will rotate on the caliper since there isn't a pin to hold it in place. Goodridge lines come with shorter bolts that work, or you can add an extra crush washer. Still, conversion lines with the correct flare fitting are recommended since it's a direct fit and solidly anchored.

huh...well when I took the stock fitting SS lines off my s14 and tried to put them on my S13 coupe a while back they barely reached the hardline. I had to pimp handle them to get them on. Another 1/4" would have made them easier. Because of this I just naturally assumed the rubber OEM lines would also stretch and end up cracking under the stress. I must admit I have never tried to use stock rubber S14 lines on an S13. But I'm sure you have so, :bowdown:

Maybe it depends on the manufacturer?

Is it just me or are S13 rear lines a bitch to get off due to the hardline fitting being awkwardly positioned?
