This is a redtop S13 SR. I'm redoing the timing. Let me know if I overlooked something, or if there are other things I should be doing at the same time since the front will be off the motor.

* FR Sport timing kit: http://www.frsport.com/OEM_Nissan_S13_SR20DET_Complete_Timing_Chain_Kit_p _1351.html

* S14 water pump: they say it has an extra bolt hole when installed on an S13 SR, but it doesn't leak and flows better. http://www.frsport.com/Nissan_OEM_S14_SR20DET_Water_Pump_Assembly_p_2218. html

* Front cover and oil pump. http://www.frsport.com/Nissan_OEM_S13_SR20DET_Front_Timing_Cover_Oil_Pump _Assembly_p_1099.html

* Oil pickup and gasket. http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=15053-SR20T

* GReddy pulleys. I'm sick of wrestling with rusty ass pulleys. http://www.frsport.com/GReddy_13522121_Lightweight_Aluminum_Pulley_Kit_S1 3_SR20DET_p_821.html

* New belts. http://www.frsport.com/Bando_OEM_Replacement_S13_SR20DET_Engine_Belts_p_1 300.html

* Koyo copper radiator. I decided against aluminium because it's too fragile for my application. http://www.frsport.com/Koyo_S020252_Copper_Core_Sports_Radiator_90_93_Sil via__S13_SR__p_1767.html

* Koyo radiator cap. http://www.frsport.com/Koyo_SK_C13_1_3_Bar_Hyper_Red_Racing_Radiator_Cap_ p_2219.html

* FAL electric fans. I'm ditching the stock fan and shroud. http://flex-a-lite.com/auto/html/345-nissan.html

* Billion thermostat from SPL, as per RN240's recommendation.

* GReddy oil pan. http://www.frsport.com/Greddy_13525901_High_Capacity_Aluminum_Oil_Pan_SR2 0DET_p_822.html

I already have Samco radiator hoses.

Right now FR sport looks like the cheapest place to order from, and their service is excellent. If you have another good place to order from please feel free to share.

Greddy Pullies are weak, get something that underdrives the water pump.

How is aluminum too fragile, don't cheese into a curb at 40mph and it will be good.

Care to recommend another brand?

Aluminium has better cooling but is more succeptible to damage from debris, rocks, etc.

Only other things I can think of (you might have this covered already) is a timing light and new gaskets for all the stuff you might need to take off and put back on.

Perhaps think about saving your money on the pulley kit if you're looking to save a bit of money. Just take off all the pulleys, remove whatever rust you find, clean 'em up, and pain them. Good as new.

Up to you though.

Good Luck!

It has a new valve cover gasket so it should be good. I'll take another look and see what is needed.

I gave up on the water pump pulley. It's rusted on so bad I don't think I can get the fan off without cutting.

Thanks for the comments.

Go with an aluminum radiator...
