Stock S14 Shift Knob

I tried turning the knob harder than hell <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':angry:'> That thing is not budging. Turning it counter-clockwise. I want to put my new shift knob on!! Am i doing something wrong?

Turn it like a mofo. &nbsp;I had to get both arms and stradle the damn thing for it to break loose. &nbsp;Get a really big guy if that doesn't work =)

Use 2 clamps one on the knob and one on the shifter itself and just turn counter clock wise its much easier

I just wrapped it in a rag(to keep it from, gettin all chewed up) and clamped down on it with a vise grip.
Took it off very easily that way.
