heads up display question

i was wondering if anyone knows how to wire up a non heads up dash for a heads up dash. i had brown interior in my s13 coupe and im working on the black interior conversion and the only dash i could find that was black was a heads up dash. so i snagged the dash and the display along with some wiring and i was wondering if anyone could aid me in doing the swap?

i think as long as you have the HUD and cluster plus sub harness it should all plug in.
i'm not sure tho i've only removed HUD's never installed one

ok so does the plug off of the HUD plug into the back of the gauge cluster???

It's plug and pray (that it still works)... cake...
There is plug for the display that goes to the back of the cluster... and use the harness from the HUD cluster to plug to your main harness. Done.
