1)
what a/f ratio should i have at iddle ? (ca18det or sr20det shouldn`t matter)

2)
if i would install a 255lph fuel pump, will also increase the fuel pressure if i leave the FPR stock ?

3)
how much fuel pressure should be used on upgraded injectors (in my case 534cc sard) stock? slightly more? less??

thanks

1. are you looking for a ratio? or a wideband voltage?

2. No

3. stock should be fine

1) for a air fuel ratio like 14,7:1 or so

255 is pretty much the max the stock fpr can handle safely...so if you go bigger then your gonna need a fpr as well

i just ask, because after a few mods my car dont idle and i talked to a nissan mechanic and explained what ive done,
he said that it sound like the car is way too rich and i should check my fuel system and search for vacum leaks.

i`m going to check my fuel pressure next week, but i wanted to ask this questions anyway, at least what for a/f ratio at iddle.......are there no guys with wideband A/F gauges out there?

a 255lph fp maybe too much for the stock fpr, thanks that`s what i wanted to hear.

well considering im running a 255lph fp with my stock fpr, and seems to be running fine, as long as your stock fpr is working properly, then it should be fine, as far as the a/f ratio, this is on a sr20det im guessing? If so you want to shoot for around 16.1 for idle, for WOT shoot for 12:1 and 12.5:1, and for cruising you want no richer than stoich, but not much leaner than 16:1. 16:1 is like super cruise. Best is about 15:1 to 15.5:1.

no its not a sr20 its "JUST" a ca18 (if i would start a threat with a ca18 in here, no one would show any interrest, belive me) :hs: but it shouldn`t matter ca or sr

anyway, sorry fior this Question but i`m from austria and not the best in english so, what do you mean with

for WOT shoot for 12:1 and 12.5:1 ????

i guess under full load/full throtle right?

well under full load i got this a/f ratio, but at iddle i`m way more rich, i cant say exactly how much (car doesn`t iddle at all) but it should be around 10:1 to 9:1 or even more worse

bad fpr?
bad vacum lines to fpr?
set power fc wrong?
other ideas?

thanks

sorry for my bad english

I have heard of quite a few people having issues with a worn out OEM FPR and the Walbro 255 pump... It seems the oem regulator cannot dump enough fuel, causing a rich condition. I would consider upgrading to a Nismo/Sard/etc FPR.

I agree with punxva, only because thats close to what i have, except for WOT which I 'm tuned 11.5. And sometimes she idles at 15.1. I guess it all depends on the Tuner...or until she blows!

yep I would suggest an upgrade, the stock one if its in good condition should be able to handle the added fuel from the 255pump but if your FPR is old or on its way out, its just going to accelerate its death quick. It wouldn't be a bad idea if money is available to go ahead and get an aftermarket FPR.
