I have already posted looking for an OEM ECU. But, I just thought about aftermarket, stand alone ECU.

Bear in mind I have spent all my funds and found out I have the wrong ECU. So cost would be an issue. So what is the best stand alone ECU for the cost. What is the best "bang for my buck"?

I want to be able to add parts later for increase horsepower (ie a bigger turbo) so it needs to be adjustable.

Thanks

I talked to him acouple of times about it. It's just the wiring that bugs me. With the ems, I just plug that bad boy in.

well by the sound of it, (IE. not getting the correct parts) you would not be the optimum candidate for a complex standalone system so I would stick with an enthalpy tune which is re programmable at a charge however you will know it is done correctly the first time. "standalone Ecu" sounds like a hybrid word.
