Advice is, read the FSM, pull the old engine, tear it down, replace what needs replacing, upgrade what needs upgrading, reassemble, reinstall, tune. Maybe you had a more specific question we can help you with...

you're welcome dude, you'll love the KAAZ :bigok:

To stay on topic... Rolldogg what are your plans for the KA, do you just want to get it running or are you looking to turbo it, etc?

Get a copy of the FSM from here (http://www.zeroyon.com/index/content/view/24/47/) and start reading up!

Hey mello. I just want to get it running for now then go turbo.

if you plan to go turbo, better build it up for what you need now, so it's capable of handling whatever you want in the future,

because it'll suck once you rebuild to stock spec and you want to go 23423xyz whp power goals and then realize you have to tear it down again...

Like Wei said, if you're planning to go turbo eventually, you might as well build it right the first time you tear the motor apart. If that's not an option for you, due to the expense & down time, you may want to look into buying a used KA motorset from a local guy. It'll only cost you a couple hundred bucks and get you running right away. Also if you go this route, you'll be able to keep your blown motor and rebuild it for turbo setup on the side...

What is wrong with your motor?

Hey Mello, I was also thinking about just dropping an sr20 motor in. Which do you think is best?
