When you get an intake, it has 2 bungs on it, a 1/8" bung, with a little tube to connect the 2. What is that tube. It's directly under the throttle body.
Also, the 3/8" or 1/2" tube to the right of the throttle body. What does that one hook up to? I have searched all over the internet, and cant seem to find it.

The main reason I'm asking is cuz my car is running funny, and I wanted to know if those are hooked up on other KA-T cars. My large tube is capped, and the little one has a cloth over it. But should I plumb them into my compressed air intake tube? How did you do your tubes, boosted?

On a side note, if anyone knows of a good way to test if my BOV is leaking, please let me know.

Thanks All!

for testing your BOV you need to plug a pump on the small pipe ( ive done it to a DSM) and need to pump (negative pressure) (vaccum?) i think and if at 7 psi you see the meter fall off its okay

Well hope this help a litlle

well i am at work right now and the car is in the garage so i cant really remember.

but i know there are 2 hoses from/near the throttle body. one large one (dont know the size) to the upper right whitch has to be connected to the compressed side of the turbo, the pipe going into the throttle body.

the other smaller, skinny one under neath the throttle body has to go to the intake pipe before the turbo yet after the mafs.

when u get an intake pipe, i think the other bung goes to the valve cover relief

Do you know what they do? I've left mine screened off, and it ran fine for a week or so, but now its idle is stumbling and occasionally stalling, and then surging at 2k or 3k rpm, depending on how far into the gas pedal I'm getting. And then my car gets horrid gas mileage, and I am kinda pissed. So I'm waiting for my car to cool off, then I'm gonna clean and re-ground my idle air control valve. And I guess tomorrow I'm gonna plumb my intake pipes and run those hoses. Then Sunday I'll make a pipe compressor (hose, pvc cap, and tire valve stem. See if anything is leaking.
If that doesn't fix it, I'll just drive into the Gulf.
