Drivers side window

On my 95 drivers side door if you roll the window up it goes up all the way but then the front of it goes up even further! I am afraid this is damaging my door and it is very annoying when i dont get it just rite it makes little bumping noise while i drive, im not sure what usually "tells" the window to stop but if any of you know or have better ideas of the problem please help.

I dont know about the noise, but its just a fitment problem.

There are white plastic stops that bolt on to the bottom of the window and mating stops on the door frame. Maybe they came loos and either shifted or fell off. Take off the trim panel and take a look in w/ a flashlight. Make sure they are all there and feel them to see if they're loose.
