everything? all gauges + the box?
retail for my seutp on the gauges
oil temp BF
oil press BF
water temp BF
boost BF
tach link
box
fuel press

retail is like 1500+ bucks.
hook up MAYBE 1400 if your lucky probably

so id sell it for like 1300 like how u see in that pic probably.
sell it as a set or none
because if i dont sell it, it will go to my extra car, getting the 1jz treatment shortly.

rofl, I wish I had that kind of money to spend on a cluster. What kind of gauges are they??

Dousan_PG
12-21-2006, 11:30 PM
mine are all Defi BF and link (2 of them)

i wanna sell them so i can get a rad STACK cluster
STACK has a speedo and stuff too, fuel level as well
all in one
just costs like 2k
haha shit!

oh well
ST8110SR is what i want! boost option baby!
no AIM for me, i dont like that one, saw it in person too. bleh.

this is way better. i love analog tachs!!

ah, thats why. Those gauges are nice but is there really any benefit to buying more expensive gauges?

Dousan_PG
12-21-2006, 11:40 PM
defi has been in business longer then autometer
and their price is about the same to the high end, higher quality AUTOMETER stuff
so if u want high quality you wont find it in megan or low end gauges
people beg to differ, but sadness is for poor people.

STACK is used on most race cars and they make gauges forso many motor sports
so yeah.

Now that I see the pics of the stack, I can see why. I am in love with those things rofl. Too bad I am one of those poors cause Im in college, so I have to settle for cheaper gauges right now :-(

Either of you wanna make one for me? I have all the gauges, but lack the necessities for the holder. Let me know if you guys are interested.

yeah, i wanted to keep the plastic cover.. but the autometer trim rings are too fat, the tabs and everything are still there for it.

That Defi setup looks nice, but for that kind of dough i woulda got an AIM (yeah i know the digital tach is kinda lame) or a STACK

Do you have a pic of how you mounted that extra gauge on the steering column?? autometer pro comps only come in 2 5/8 and i couldnt get it to fit in that space where the 2 1/16 hole is now.. So I need to put it somewhere else.

i got some of the wiring done tonigth, but ill finish it tomorrow and take pics

talk to Dousan.. mine is all handmade .. he said he laser cut his, it would be much easier for him to reproduce one.:bigok:

i didnt do it
my friend did
ill bug him later
but its not like we'd do a bunch of different gauge sizes
60-60-80-60-60 gauges
i need a new one for me, so might sell the one i have. the far left is off because it was made to keep the stock fuel gauge
but we'll see
schools back in session soon
but i seroiusly doubt itwill ever happen so dont hold your penis or bite your tongue and DEFINTELY DONT pm me about it.

i totally want a STACK
shit
saw it in kumakubo's car this weekend
saw the AIM too, wasnt so impressed.

Do ya have a pic of that gauge on the steering column by chance?
Like how it is mounted..

Dousan_PG
12-22-2006, 02:00 AM
its using the stock defi stand they come with
just double sided taped on
never fell off at the track.

alright thanks, I may just get one of the autometer holders..
might mount it on the trim piece under the column .. next to the center console.. it wont get in the way and is still easy to see, although you have to look down, BUT dont really have any options, if my dash wasnt perfect i would cut into it, but thats a no can do :-/

Dousan_PG
12-22-2006, 08:11 AM
mine is mounted not on the column
but to the right has that little flat spot on the dash thing it self
if i had a camera id take pics

I wouldnt mind having one that would fit a tach, speedo and either (2) 52mm or (2) 60mm gauges in the cluster.

vrooompssssht
12-24-2006, 06:01 PM
all done...

have to take it out again soon because i hooked up the constant power + igniton power to the same wire for the greddy egt gauge, i guess you cant do that.. i found it in some greddy gauge wiring thing.. it wasnt in the manual for the actual gauge.

yeah man that came out looking great! kick ass!

what i dont like?
mm the screen. digital tach
and the aim is more 'open track beast' then what i do for now
i like all in one, just my guage info
everything else if i need lap time sand stuf, i would go for an AIM, but i dont. and i can always get a timer or somethin glater., transponder and such

its just too much gauge for my needs

yokotas13
12-24-2006, 06:30 PM
what do you do about your fuel level?
and speedometer?
I have a few extra clusters around, id like to put my SAFC2 and AVCr in there, but i need to keep my gas gauge and stuff for JCI and crap

Dousan_PG
12-24-2006, 06:32 PM
fuel? if it snot daily is cool.
speedo? thats for quitters.

yokotas13
12-24-2006, 06:41 PM
JCI has to have them. thats the only thing thats stopping me from doing it.
my shits up next year, and i have to get it inspected.

i drive the 180 in the winter, so id like to have a fuel gauge

Dousan_PG
12-24-2006, 06:43 PM
i completely agree on the gauge
and i know japan is very strict

yokotas13
12-24-2006, 06:48 PM
hoirribly strict

i might break apart one of the other clusters i have and see if i can keep the fuel section and cut the rest out

Dousan_PG
12-24-2006, 06:49 PM
its funny
because people say CA is strict
its nothing like japan.
it would be impssible for me to get my car 'street legal' by SHAKEN whatever its called hahaha

yokotas13
12-24-2006, 07:38 PM
yeah, just to get mine legal
i have to put back a few vacume lines in the engine bay, raise it considerablly, get a new windshield, put my backseats back in, pad my cage, put my steering colum shroud back on, replace both tie rod boots, and the LCA boots. fix a leak on my valve cover (which will be fixed when i do a trust 1.1 hg and ras anyways) and other random shit.

sucks ass
oh yeah, and i need new tires too.BUT luckily i have a Jasma (think CARB) exhaust so i dont have to worry about that

vrooompssssht
12-25-2006, 12:28 AM
I have a gas gauge, but the autometer pro comp series only comes in 2 5/8 and up (why the hell you need a 2 5/8 gas gauge who knows)

so it wont fit in the cluster i have to put it somewhere else.
