I figured since at least one member wanted to know about frsport.com (from sticky of what not to do, hehe), I'd post a review.

Transaction with these guys have always gone smoothly. They rock what they sell and even suggest alternatives depending on your goals. I get most of my parts from these guys now because I know that the end of the sale is not the end of the support.

My most memorable experience of their customer service:

I wanted to buy an HKS Fan Controller. They suggested the Greddy MSS since it was cheaper and had more functionality - sweet I thought, so got that instead. Not only did I get the controller, they also supplied me with the necessary wiring diagrams and ECU pinouts to help me install.

Saturday rolls around and I'm installing the fan controller. My car is completely tore up from making space for wiring and doing a couple other things at once... needless to say, the car wasn't going anywhere soon.

Unfortunately, I find out the MSS had a cracked LCD screen, so I wouldn't be able to complete my install. I called them up, luckily for me they work on Saturday, and within the hour, they drove to my house to drop off a new MSS controller. Granted I don't live too far from them, but it was a really awesome thing to do.

I too have had a great experience with FRSport! I've bought quite a few things from them since my First purchase. They are very helpful and friendly. the first time i went there i got kinda lost but after looking around hard enough i noticed 4 240s parked next to each other and low n behold the shop was rite there across the street from a Nudie Bar/strip club. Any how i would definatly recomend this shop. They have a good selection of parts in stock,which is wat i like, which also means no waiting for parts if u're local. And all in all the service was great and the prices were the cheapest i've seen most of the parts go for, i would consider them The Best In Town!!!

My Greddy Type M FMIC and CS downpipe/elbow were on back order and I kept in contact with them and they gave responses promptly. I knew that the downpipe was on national backorder because I asked a local shop, Stage6 and that's what they told me.

Last week, I decided to stoped-by for some parts for my S14 SR......I know that this place doesn't have better price than others....but it is the closest.....

I bought a front and rear main seals...Valve Cover Gasket, Spark plug well Gaskets, and a set of spark plugs at Frsport......I asked them to do price match...Yes, I did the price match.....and charge me 7.75% California sale's tax....which I think it's okay for me...since they at least did price matching for me...so at least the prices weren't that bad compared to the places I usually go...

Today, I wanted to buy a Blitz Blow off Valve kits with intake pipe from them again....The price listed on thier website is $249.00.....However, I asked them to do the price matching with mynismo.com which only sell the same kits for 235.00.....The guy said..."Yes, we could price match it"......What happened was the guy told me that the price listed (249.00) is the price with taxes....so that means 249.00 is an out the door price.....

My understanding told me that 249.00 is an out the door price which I asked him many many times and he insisted that 249.00 is an out the door price if I pay him in cash..... However, if I pay with my Debit card, the price will be $249.00+ 7.75% CA tax....which the guy used the word $249+credit card fees........I asked him that how much everything comes out if i pay with my card....and he told me that it's $249+fees=$266.xx

I tried to explain to him how the system works and stuffs but he told me that this is the best he could do.....

Is it called price match?.....He said YES...He wanted to do price match.........Mynismo.com sells it for 235.00.....Frsports,....if I pay cash, $249....with card $266......

What the different of paying cash or card?.....Why paying in cash or paying with card doesn't come up at the same price?.....

I don't know what other places do....but from my experieces, if someone pays me cash, I would leave out the tax for him, but if that person uses his card, I have to charge him tax.....

What Frport was gonna do to me was that....he was gonna charge me tax if I pay him in cash....and he was gonna DOUBLE CHARGE me tax if I pay with my card.....

I think I have to report IRS about this......

i've bought stuff from them on a few occasions and never had any problems at all. service reps were pretty knowledegable and friendly. better deals can be found elsewhere, but the only time i ever buy anything retail is when i absolutely hafta have it right now and can't wait for shipping. and in the future i'll continue going to frsport. especially cuz they're only about 10-15 minutes from my house.

Also I understand the problem with the credit card fees, its the same reason you can't buy a soda at a corner store with a credit card because 35 cents is the fee in some places per transaction. After reading it a couple of times, I feel there was a big misunderstanding between you and the salesperson. Most of the time, shops give good deals if you pay cash. Like frsport and CAPoweredS14 said, there are always credit/debit card fees charged by any merchant processors. Whether it's 3% or some fixed amount, it's still a lot of money. If you choose other forms of payment besides card, they can cut you a better deal. Regardless, they always have to pay the fees and if they like you they'll give you a good price. They'll just have to pay the fees out of their pockets.

Here is the reason why there is a misconception. If nismoshop sells it for 235+8.25%, that is $254.39. If you were to buy it from frsport for just $249.00. It's as if you were paying for 231.09+7.75%. But here is what ppl shouldn't be confused about. Even though you are paying $249, it does not imply tax is already included. It could be that they are willing to pay the tax for the customer by eating into their profits, which I think that is being very courteous. Not many shops will do that.

With credit/debit fees or transaction fees, and having to pay the tax amount out of their pockets, there's no way any shops will give you a better deal. If it's a card, I doubt they can budge on the price at all or cut you a good deal. Therefore I would not be surprised that he/she can't give you for the same amount as if you were paying with card.

Why do you think asian food places never accept cards? In order to give you the best prices on food, they can't pay those fees by eating into their profits. Otherwise the food wouldn't be cheap.

Third time ordering from them. This time I ordered the CS turbo lines and a steering bushing.

I spoke with Vu, but he didn't give much information on the size of the fittings. I guess that these guys are more of a seller than a shop. I just feel they could have done more to find out the sizes for me.

I then spoke with CircuitSport and they gave me the information I needed and then proceeded to buy from FRSport because their their total to my house was cheaper than P2M.


That and I love how you can track your package on their website. It just seems that much more professional

The reason....and the only reason that I was really pissed...because the salesperson told me that he was gonna beat/match the price posted on Mynismo.com website...which was 235.00.....

Let's think this way......if you're going to buy a one dollar can of soda at Ralph or any other grocerry stores, what would you have to pay?....

Ok, I live in Japan but spend most of my time out to sea on an aircraft carrier, looked around for a Greddy oil Filter relocation kit and found FRSport had a good deal on them.

Explained to him what was wrong with my car and he let me know that they had an extra s14 maf sensor in the back, but he did say that it might not work on my s13 eventhough I have an s14 ka. Ordered a few things from FRSport. Among them were a s13 Tanabe rear sway bar TEIN inner and outer tie rods and KYB upper strut mounts.

I got a call from them about the rear sway bar being on backorder and it won't be in for over 4 weeks. On the same call they notified me of an error I made with my order, I only ordered one strut mount and they wanted to make sure it was correct! Awesome. So we fixed that.

Today I got the package and I'm missing my inner tie rods!!! Called FRSport and they're apparently on backorder also. T_T

So overall great customer service. I would like to have known about the inner tie rods being on backorder because my plan was to have everything swapped and aligned before the next autocross. I have to wait now, though not the fault of FRSport.

Overall I would/will order from FRSport again. I liked that they called me to clear issues up before processing the order and I'm sure that the tie rod backorder must have happened right before shipping or something.

I've only dealt with FRSport a few times (with $125-$300 purchases), but I've had very smooth transactions and great customer service from them. Shipping usually arrives next-day or 2-day no matter which shipping options I choose, and the parts are always neatly packaged and exactly as ordered. I use this shop as a reference to compare other places to and nobody can hang with them in price or part selection in my opinion.

I ordered muteki lugs through my old nissan dealership account, had my GF pick them up... waited a couple weeks to install and now realize they gave me 1.5 thread pitch.
Arent most if not all nissans 12x1.25???
They dont have the correct lugs in stock and they are back ordered forever... not to mention still want to charge me %20 to restock lug nuts.
They screw up and I pay the price ...sounds real fair.

So over the past few weeks I've been gathering parts in my shopping cart, and recently the KoyoRad (which was one of the many parts) went on clearance, I called today to see if they had the parts in stock and Davis told me they did, I told him I would be there later today. I finally got there after driving through 1 1/2 hours of traffic and Davis helped me out. I had forgotten my list at home, but he told me he could gather everything off my shopping cart online, confirmed the prices and came out from the back with a cart full of parts. He then laid them out on the counter and double checked everything with me in both part number and quantity. As I was gathering everything he offered to help me carry the parts to my car, I declined and he asked me to hold on a second, he went in back and quickly found a box for me to throw everything into. That doesn't sound like much, but that extra bit of attention to the customer means a lot. Great customer service!

I know ive posted in here before, but I bought Stance coilovers and some other things through them on the 22nd. Placed my order at 2pm, and I got a phone call at 4:30 saying that theres a different model (Stance SS), asking if I would like to change to those and it would be cheaper, that they have those in stock.
I love these guys and its one of the few places I love doing business with. There communication skills are amazing. Thumbs up.

I don't go anywhere else. When FRSport doesn't have the part I want, I ask myself, "who else has parts other than FRSport."
I hate it when I have to go to another shop to get parts.
And their shipping and customer services is the best.
When a part is on back order, they call you.
No other site has ever done that before, at least with my experience.

So many glowing comments. While we do order many parts from them, I found it isn't worth it to get expedited shipping when ordering. I got an email saying my order was packed and shipped USPS priority- think it was two-day. $36.51 for shipping a FPR. That was a Thursday. I didn't receive it untill the following Monday. Planned/payed to receive it on Saturday, and never did receive any tracking information.

I clicked on their price matching banner, as they were way high on a steering rack. Nothing.

I see they have plenty of fans out there, but I am luke-warm. I remain a customer only because they have more stuff in stock than the other guys, but they definitely charge for it.

I've been happy with them in the passed , but this last week there customer service sucks , online chat and on the phone all i want is my tracking # and cant get it , called and was told they would email it to me and got nothing , they were able to tell me where it was but i cant get a tracking # F******k

Honestly never had an issue with them. Yea they can be a bit slow but they are super busy. I personally just ordered 3 parts from them today. Chris was the sales rep that helped me out and did a pretty good job for pricing. I asked about price matching and discount for fiding a part the webaite didnt list he went ahead and hooked it up. Guess it just depends who you deal with. You cant beat free shipping as long as you spend $100 or more. Most online vendors dont even offer free shipping let alone hook you up like frsport does.

But they actually do still have a good price for the Enkei PF-01s, some of my favorite wheels, and they not only still carry them but seem to have the best price I've seen so far for them.

am i the only person that has problems with them? it seems like every other time i order from them they mess my order up, send the wrong things, send it to the wrong address. the last thing i ordered from them was a compressor outlet elbow and the bolts for it, i got the elbow, but instead of the three bolts for the compressor outlet they sent me one turbine outlet stud, i even looked the part number that was on the packing list on their website and the part number was correct, so i guess they just have morons working in the packaging department
