-Is it just the dash lights that don't work or do the heater control lights also not work??
-Check the fuses in the drivers kick panel and check fuses:left 2nd from bottom, left 4th from bottom, and right 3rd down from the top. Are they all good?
-make sure your dimmer switch (the dimmer for interior lights) is not all the way dim???

just the dash lights, so i am thinking its the bulbs.

the dimmer is all the way up

all the fuses are good in the car i have checked them 2 times to make sure i did not miss anything

also the spedo does not work, head up display

I think you almost have to have a fuse that is shot. Other wise you have a short somewhere, then you need to download the FSM and bust ut the multimeter.

i used the mitimeter to check the fuses and got 12 volts to all of them with the key in acc. i need to find a fsm, zeroyon is down.got a link?

Nah, I don't know of any other place to get them right now. But good luck once you do get a FSM, just take your time and make sure you understand how the circuits are supposed to work then diagnosing is much easier.

Did you change anything prior to your cluster not working?

Sound like either a fuse or you burnt out a trace on the cluster.

If you fuel guage wasn't working before you had cluster problems, that it's most likely the floater.

i just bopught the car and it has these problems, i guess i can try to take the fuel pump out and see if the floater is stuck

so i guess i shold just get a new cluster?

sounds like a fuse to me too but there alll good so it must be the cluster is messed up

The only way you'll know if you need a new cluster is to take it out.

Then follow all the traces and see if you can find any burns. Use a multimeter also to verify your findings.

Could just be the connectors wiggled loose.
