View Full Version : Hard Shifting?

It started off as grinding in 1st gear, but after a while of driving without going into 1st and skipping right to 2nd let the gears rest or some sh**, and now I can shift into 1st smoothly. Although now it led me to another problem. I can't shift into ANY gears during high rpms (usually around 4~5K+) and now it grinds when shifting into reverse. I have to pull the stick like a mother to get it into reverse, and then right when it gets in the whole car shakes. Would replacing the pilot and throwout bearing help this problem?

Bad Clutch (broken springs?)
Delete Clutch Dampner Box
Bleed Clutch System
Check Master + Slave Cylinder
Check Throwout Bearing

Well, the driver might be a going bad. Replace him while you can. =)

All those were done already. Master and slave cylinder are brand new.

Check Throwout Bearing
I'm sure this is the cause, since that's what was going bad before.
