Alright I tried searching and it didnt give me much to work with.

I'm basically replacing my blown longblock from a redtop to a blacktop. Is there anything that I would run into? I hear you can use it as long as you use the redtop 02 sensor. Is this correct? Thanks

There are slight differnces in the tune on the redtop ecu vs the blacktop ecu. I have a good BlackTop E5 Ecu, instock and ready to ship. For $225 Shipped to your door. The harness Between S13 Red and Black top are the same.

This is what you would need to truely shore up your new setup.

Get in touch if you have any other questions.

There shouldnt be any difference between the 2 unless your running a 96 and up Type-X 180sx blacktop. Doesnt matter what the o2 is, itll plug into your existing harness either way.

IIRC The o2 sensor bung is a different size (redtop uses large base blacktop uses narrow base) the sensors read the same and should plug in fine S13 blacktop uses an o2 from a 300zxTT

I dont think the pinout changes on the harness between type X and redtops is anything that gets used in a standard swap I would recommend usind a blacktop ECU though.

Yeah, I know the o2 sensors are different but it should be fine.

Also, johngriff want to do a trade +cash for the 62 ecu?

Dood, there is no difference, ive swapped between black/red tops a couple of times running my E5 ECU with no problem.
