I just got both hoses off an about 8 total ounces came out. Is this okay? I did depressureive it all by removing the pump fuse and running it till "death" twice.
Thanks,
Jeff

While it may not be the most evironmentally friendly method, I and a lot of other mechanics don't waste time with depressurizing the system and just let the gas drain into a container.  Depressurized or pressurized doesn't matter too much.  It won't puke a whole bunch of gas either way.  So yeah, it's fine.

Ah thanks. I had a 20ox coke bottle that got most of it. I'll wait an hour for it to all evaporate though.
I hope this makes my car run at least a bit smoother &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/lookaround.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':look:'>

I like OEM for alot of basic parts. I used the OEM fuel filter from the dealer off of a Z32 TT (300zx). Any year should do, but I think I said 1993. Anyways, it is wider and more importantly, is $1 cheaper &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>
Not like it's going to help over an s13 filter though <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/satisfied.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':satisfied:'>
Easy job, the hoses are a bitch, but don't give up! www.240sx.org in the FAQ tells you everything. I am going to see if my car starts and runs fine now. I hope I didn;t puncture any hoses &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Aw crap! I knew I forgot something.
Pull the fuse, run it till it stalls, unhook battery, make sure I screw everything back down, down leave any tools or rags down there, gas ca....oops.
Heh, I'll rememeber that in 15k!
