Just finnishing up my RB25 S1 Swap into my S14, I have the tach working but it obviously reads 1.5 times to high, I see most people say put a 10k resistor in and it corrects, well I tried that, inline the tach doesnt work and I dont want to try it any other way, Please can someone advise me where and how to fit the 10k resistor onto the tach wire.

Thanks

Never heard of that resistor mod, but on the back of the tach there is a small blue adjustment screw. IF you have something else to reference RPM you can adjust it to be fairly accurate. (most tachs aren't very accurate anyway)

I don't know the calibration for the stock tach.

I recommend a good aftermarket tach because the stock tach isn't accurate, especially in the upper quadrant of the rev range.

I dont seem to have a blue adjustment screw, my car is a RHD Euro version with a 260kph clock, speedo seems to be very close to accurate,

My car looks bone stock rocking a pretty built RB25, last thing i want in there is a big gangly looking tach, ill have to see if i can find a skyline tach to swap in :(
