[edit: new question on next post]

I'm looking for the heater hose and the drain plug on cylinder block (not radiator drain plug). I'm trying to purge the cooling system, I know it can be done without this step but I would like to know where this is. If anyone has a pic of both it'd help me out a ton.

Thanks.

It's best to wait for the car to cool before you start this.

The coolant drain plug on the plug is behind the exhaust manifold. It's hard to see. You have to look for it.

The heater hose is right on the firewall towards the passenger side.

Thanks, a pic would still help though if anyone has one. And yes the car is completely cold (sitting for a week now). When I remove it, when do I put it back in? I dont see that in the instructions, unless its supposed to be step 6.

Also, after the radiator has been topped off, do I keep filling it after I turn on the car untill coolant spills from the bleeder screw (the one on the waterneck connecting to upper rad. hose)??? Or do I do I put the bleeder screw and rad. cap back on before turning it on?

I'm going to be doing this tommorow so I want to be sure.

This is the SR. The blue plug is where the coolant drain bolt is. The KA is similar.

If you look at your fsm page above with the exhaust manifold in it, you will see a black arrow where it says "loosen". That should do the job.
