Lookin to get a replacement 240, and was wondering if itd be OK to get a higher milage on if i'm goin to be turboing it(which I will almost definately do).
Mainly my question is, do you usually rebuild the engine anyways while turboing? Or should I get a lower mileage one or possibly swap in a lower milage engine.

If your going to keep the internals stock its best to start with low miles, or you will start to break stuff usually. You could always get a high mile car and buy a spare KA with low miles and build it up for turbo, then swap it in. It all depends on how much power your lookin for. I would go with the spare KA and then build it up though.

Thats what I was leaning towards.
Would get a lower mileage engine, be cheaper, and have less downtime.

Why for ANY REASON at all would you want an engine with high miles? Even if you're not re-building for a turbo setup and just looking for a new engine, buy one with as little miles as possible.
