powersteering rack problem

alright so i bought a steering rack from a 91 s13. i was going to put it in my 90 s13. but when i took off my broken one i found out that the connections where reversed(the lines were on the other side of the pipe) so it wouldnt fit. is there anyway to fit it? or do i have to get the exact same year? idk. ill try to put some pics up later. any help would be great. thanks.

you probably got the wrong rack. Get the right one.

89 & 90 are interchangeable and 91 & up are interchangeable. 89/90 SOHC lines are for pump and reservoir on passenger side; 91 & up are for driver side fitment. If you ever want to do an SR swap, the 91 rack would be good to have; otherwise, I would look for the 89/90 to keep it simple.

yea u probably got the sohc one or vice versa and uve got the opposite.
