Starter Dieing?!?!

my starter is finally seeing the end of its time:duh: . i have a s14 sr in a 96 240sx. i wanted to know where i can get a starter and what car (usdm) can i interchange the starter with. Everyones help is needed desparately cause i dont have a car to drive until i get a starter. thanks

oh yeah i i did try searching before hand and couldnt seem to find anything.

take it out and get it bench tested at autozone. they should sell starters

You can't use a KA starter in an SR. So you need to search the JDM importers. You need an SR starter. It is a bolt up issue, as we went thru that issue on my car.
Your carbon brushes are likely worn down and need replacing. Also look for carbon brush kits for the starter.

are starters rebuildable like alternators? i think we should find somebody that reuilds them and give have our sr starters rebuilt

Yes,starters are rebuildable. Any good starter/alternator repair shop should beable to help you on this one.
