I have an S14 SR20DET. I have a leak somewhere near the exhaust manifold and think it might be a bad gasket between my exhaust manifold and the engine. I looked up parts that would work in place of the stock SR20 parts and found this, Exhaust Manifold Gasket '91 Sentra SE-R w/SR20DE. Can somebody tell me if this would work on my S14 SR20DET? Thanks

Use the S15 metal gasket. The other ones just fall apart.

Gentlemen, this is a TECH thread, if you have one for sale, please PM the potential customer, instead of playing the used car dealer approach, trying with all you got to cut each others' throats for the sake of competition

Hey Guys,

I don't know about the S15 Metal Exhaust Gasket being all that great, mine pissed a hole through it while being on the dyno/run. Everytime I start the car it sounds like a bad lifter *tick tick tick **when you rev it or driving. The noise goes away after 2-3 mine of driving, probably due to the multilayer gasket expanding and somewhat sealing the Tomei Expreme Manifold to the Engine. And no its not a Lifter i can feel exhaust coming out between the manifold and engine block. Probably a good idea to check the gasket between the turbo and manifold, they often go aswell...
