1.) Just put new Ecsta's in the rear of my Coupe. My question is: When I take it down the road and go over a tar mound or pot whole it feels like the whole car just wants to go side ways? I was thinking to check the Sway bar bushings and perhaps replace both bushing and go with a Stillen Sway Bar? Any help? Also the Tires are 235/35/17's in the rear and 215/35/17 in the front.

2.) I have a '89 KAE in my '90 Coupe and I have a few problems. It is really hard to start in the mornings. We dont have very cool mornings, more like 70's. It usually takes around two turns of the ignition and then it putters till it gets to idle. Then, I have a idling problem. It rev's around 800-900 and drops between the two and sounds almost as if I have a cam in it(I think timing may be out). Last but not least, the first drive of the day, blueish/gray smoke comes out until the engine gets up to operating temp. Would too much oil yeild this problem?

Thanks Guys, *a

burning oil till it warms up sounds like bad rings. try running a thicker oil

imo worn rings

don't seal fully when cold, letting oil into the cylinder
when they get hot, they expand so the oil burning stops

I would make sure your subframe bushings and forward link bushings aren't hosed before fooling with the asb or getting a different one. Even with no asb at all the car should track properly. Right?

...and yeah, the other thing sounds like rings.

just take off the rear sway bar and see if it still does it.

what about the idleing problem

check for vac leaks. spray a little carb cleaner around your intake tract and see if the idle gets lumpy. if it does, its sucking it in through a little leak.

otherwise it could just be your intake tract being really filthy. get some intake cleaner and run it through. i don't know if SOHC have IACV's.

Well I changed my oil to 10w30 Royal Purple and I got the smoking to quit. But I still have a leaking ring in Cylinder 2. I am thinking about just puilling it and dropping in a KADE. *a
