Hello everyone,
So I was at the track today and my temps skyrocketed to 110 degrees celcius plus. The e-fans stopped working, I think it ruined a relay. I let the car cool down some and then even worse, really off the scale of the water temp sensor. I had no clue what it was until I inspected some more and saw that my lower radiator hose collapsed. I was amazed as i never saw this happen before. What could be the cause of this?

New cap. Here's why, & what you can look for...

The smallest little disk under the cap should spring downwards when there's any kind of vacuum in the cooling system. That's to suck coolant back in from the reservoir. If that thing is stuck, when the engine cools down it'll collapse a hose instead of sucking coolant back in. Radiator caps are pretty cheap, it's kinda not worth it to clean & fix that little disk.
