Well... Since I bought my car, the cruise hasn't worked. And since I will be in my engine bay next weekend installing my turbo, I figure I could try and kill 2 birds.
Then my problem. I don't know what to look for. Some big actuator thing I'm told, and to check to see if there is a throttle line going to it. Anyway... could you guys just start posting things it could be?
Thanks!

This is the scoop. You have a primary throtle cable that runs at the fire wall and goes to the throttle body actuator *I think that's what it's called* Anyway then there will be a secondary throtle cable that runs off the fire wall and goes to a controller near the front of the engine bay. What happens (the easy fix) is that the line comes loose from the actuator at the cruise control (front of the engine bay) Just replace in the proper spot and tighten down. If that isn't the problem then it may be the acuator itself and in the 240 they use the vacuum type acutaor and there maybe a leak in the acutator itself and needs to be replaced($$$$ Sorry I couldn't be more help
I had to get rid of mine for the SR along w/ AC so I know your pain. Long trips would absolutely suck if I didn't love the 240 so much

Is your 240SX, stick or auto? Cause if it's stick, it might be the same problem as mine.
Before using the cruise, make sure your clutch is all the way pulled back up (pull it back up by using your left foot). That's how I got my CC to work.
I think the clutch wire's (the one that pulls the pedal back to it's position) getting loose or old.
Try it and see if it works.
