Hey guys which clutch alignment tool will work for the s13 sr ..? Maxima ,300zx , 200sx ser? The sr20 200sx has the same part # as the z so hopefully that will work because thats all the local advance auto has ... Any advice or suggestions?

IIRC. the 240sx ones are fine. If the ka tranny fits on the sr20 clutch, then why wouldn't the alignment tool not work? same numbers of teeth.

I am not sure that the SR and the KA have the same number of splines on the shaft, I am aware that the Z-car and KA ones have 24 splines, and I happen to have an alignment tool laying around my carport for cheap + shipping if you know it will work, since I am no longer in need of it.

you know this is actually a funny story. i was in the same situation, and i found a clutch alignment tool. no idea what it was for but it worked perfectly. i later found out it was from a 1978 datsun pickup. And i found it in a bunch of old tools and parts. doesn't really help you but kinda funny on what would work.

According to information I just gathered, the KA/CA/SR alignment tools should all have the same 24-spline shaft, so you should not have a problem.
I got my information here, sort of, since ALL of them use the same damned part:

... if you want the one I have for not much more than a song, lemme know, I will get a new one with my next new clutch, and don't need this one anymore.

Theyre like 3 dollars at your local autoparts store.

If its at all slopped on the section after the spline, use some electrical tape to wrap said section until the slop in minimal. You'll know what I'm talking about if you have this problem.

Bring your clutch disk to the store. They are known to have a shitty fitting universal ones. Loose as a $10 whore.

yea, SR and KA are the same. even the pilot bushing is the same size.
I should know, i had to rush to the dealer to get a oem ka pilot bushing, exact size as the one that came with my sr clutch.
Also, i've helped my friend swaped out his tranny for the 3rd time. he used a KA tranny with sr20 bell housing. everything is exactlly the same.
