S13 Silvia Bumper Support needed?

All right I have searched all over but haven't really found a definate answer to my question... I have a 93 coupe and I've got the Orign Stylish front bumper for Silvia front ends. Now I already have the Headlight and brackets but am I going to need the Silvia bumper support? Or how do people do aftermarket front bumpers on these cars... I don't see just the fenders holding it on since they are FRP... and the original bumper support is for too massive to fit the Origin bumper... so I'm assuming I need the JDM bumper support or do people cut up the USDM one? What would be my best option?

Your best option is to get a JDM Silvia support. Your next best option is to trim the stock unit.

Some people run with no support but that's not recommended.

Most kouki style bumpers won't need much trimming. On either end corner of the support you will need to cut of the 1/2" rounded vertical part sticking out to make the whole face of the support flat.
