Ok... I previously inquired about a 95 obd 1 computer and cel. I figured it out, got the codes from the flashing light, cleared the codes, etc. All went well.

NOW i'm working on my 96 obd 2 s14 with the stock ka24de. There is no light in the computer, but i'm pretty sure i'm just supposed to look at the dash light...correct?

Also, turn the screw clockwise, and turn it back... I look at the cel on the dash, and it blinks code 34. KNOCK SENSOR. THEN i turn it BACK to the clockwise position for a few seconds, and then return it to the original position. Isn't this supposed to CLEAR ALL CODES? When i do that, the cel light STAYS ON...no flashes...=good.

BUT, when i go BACK to clockwise, and BACK to counterclockwise again, it reads CODE 34 AGAIN! Shouldn't it have cleared the code,(at least till i start the car again) and flash a 55(clear ecu)???? ANy help would be appriciated...

ps- where is the knock sensor located?

ok..wtf!?!?! i must be an idiot or something...

I just reset the ecu, let the car idle for 10 min. and checked the codes again.

Now i have

34- knock sensor
91- what the hell is that!?
132- ALSO, what the hell is that!?

I tripple checked the last two, and sure enough, thats what the read.
I cant even find those last two codes.....grrrr

damn...thats the web site i did all this off of.

I tripple checked...DOH!!! A long blink equal 10, and a short equal 1....I dont see how i'm reading this wrong.....CRAP.

Well, anyone know where the knock sensor is? Maybe i'll just go rent an obd2 scanner and be sure....
