does the s14 side marker reach it? it looks like it would be a long shot. and they dont use the same bulb either, so how are you guys making the sidemarker/turn signal work?

They are too short. You will have to run some wire to extend them and yes the plug is differnt. You will need to get some new conectors similar in size to the ones used for the negitive on a speaker. Positive and negitive doesnt matter when hooking them up either and use some electrical tape to protect the conectors after you have them hooked up. Simple as that, I would have taken some pictures of the connectors but they are protected by the electrical tape so they cannot be seen.

Ask and you shall recive. I wrote up a simple diagram how to do it with a relay, most commonly used in aftermarket car alarms and such. So what it boils down to is when the turn signal is sending a positive pulse it activates the electromagnet switching the switch to a terminal that is not conected to the circuit, thus making the light go out. Make sure you install the relay after the lead to the headlight. Sorry for the crude illistrations but I am out the door at the moment, must not be late for my final.
