H4/HID question

Ok, so I bought a hella h4 conversion, and then I bought a used HID kit from a fellow zilvian. I didn't check the contents, of the HID kit until recently, and found that it looked strange. So, my friend tells me I got the wrong kit. So, I do some research, and turns out that I got the d1s HID bulb, which has the ignitor, built into the base. But, when I tried to fit it onto my hella's they didn't fit. So, my question is, which HID bulb do I need to make them fit, into my h4 conversion? Or, am I just putting mines in, incorrectly?

im pretty sure you need the d2s bulb kit but im not too sure. but since you have the d1s, you going to have to purcahse everything for thw d2s including the bulbs, ballast and harnesses.

there are adapters so that the d1/ds2 bulb fit into a H4 housing.
