Anyone know if nissan sells these? I didnt see a part number in the FSM. I threw a bolt in there for now but its leaking a bit of coolant from right there when it gets hot.

You need a copper washer for the bolt.

A little piece of pipe tape wrapped around the threads might work in the mean time? I bet Nissan sells that bolt & washer, just go down there and ask around or talk to PerformanceNissan.com

telfon tape the bolt and it will be fine just as what Mello88 said or you can buy a cooper o gasket from any autopart store for a few cents.

I went to ace hardware and picked up some brass washers...best I could do (they didnt have copper). Last night I retightened the bolt and its not leaking anymore, but I want to be safe. Is a copper o gasket similar to a washer?

Yeah its just like a washer, but I think the reason they use copper is because it compresses like a gasket to form a better seal. Not sure how brass will work, but I think it's much harder than copper so it probably won't compress or seal as good. If it leaks again try putting some teflon tape on there. GL

Thanks, no leaks when I checked today. I went to Ace, Home Depot and Pep Boys and couldnt find a copper washer for the life of me.
