View Full Version : fuel pump not working, tried working fuel pump, fuse not blown, help

everything worked fine before the..
motor/tranny pulled along with wiring harness
clutch job
installed motor/trans/wiring back in car
don't hear fuel pump
fuse not blown
tried switching with a working fuel pump/egi pump relay
fuel pump still not turning on

i think the wiring somewhere is fucked, can someone guide me?
dirty plugs? cut wire somewhere? ground?

pull codes off the ecu first, see where that gets you. make sure all accessible grounds are fine. then start messing around with a multimeter and an FSM.

It's not that helpful... but i'm sure people will build on it. good luck

^true enough. Recheck your harness connections, they may not be pushed in all the way and not making contact. Plus codes like ''echo'' said. The contact thing happened to me.

see if you have power at the connector that goes in the tank. you will need to hook up your volt meter then turn the key on.
