I was looking for parts for my 2004frontier, and came across this cam spec that looks like a possibly good candidate for the 240sx KA24de engine. Only thing that I am not to happy about is that I am iffy if those are the specs that really come on the CAM. They advertise that it would need to replace rocker arms/ lifters???? Some one in that parts department doesn't know what the fuck they are talking about. But if it is a true 275 duration I would be down to try it out... That means more duration than the JWT cam shafts, and it is cheaper.
Has anyone tried these cams? Can anyone rate them. Is that 275 duration for INT or EXH? Need more info if anyone has it....

Vinnie did you notice those cams only have 6 lobes per cam?
the KA24DE cams for our cars are 8 lobe cams i.e. one lobe per valve.
if it was the 12 valve engine it would have a 6 lobe camshaft with rockers. SR's have 4 lobe cam shafts with rockers. CA18's have 8 lobe camshafts and RB's have 12 lobe camshafts.
There is no room in the 24DE head for rockers. Its hydraulic lifters following the cams.

Yeah I noticed that. I mentioned that they called it rockers I was like WTF??? I know the KAde uses buckets. Also one lobe per valve. I am a bit confused, they claim that the cams are for the KA24DE. The referencing and pic used is misconstrude info. I was wondering if that was just an error on there part and if someone has actually purchased this so called cam with the 275duration.
The link claims that it is for the KA24de, but something doesn't add up, I was wondering if some one has purchased the actuall cams to clarify.
You can click on this too see what I mean..

Now this one looks like the cams to the DE, but they still mention to replace lifters (buckets technically arent lifters, they don't use an arm to lift the valve, lifters come on the KAE)??? Whats wrong with these people??? I just think that whoever did there website fubared badlly.
Same cam spec but they claim this one is for high performance only. It's funny though it uses the same lift and duration..... Not only that but all the KA24de trucks used the same alighnment for there cams to sprocket so why would it matter if it was 2WD or 4X4.......

I've bought parts from these guys before when I had my Hardbody D21 years ago, they are pretty reliable from what I understand. I wonder who put together there website, because some one over there screwed up....
