ok so i got a cheapo compression tester today from advance auto. 120 across all four. im not sure i am doing it right, but i dropped fuel pressure to zero on my fpr, disconnected cas, cranked to releas all fuel pressure, and then took all the coilpacks off. then i went one by one removing spark plugs and testing. is this right? if so, WTF? sometimes i get some smoke out the back at idle, and car almost dies when i push in the clutch to come to a stop as the rpms are dropping, they drop to like 300 and then come back up. sometimes when i start it the car will die right away. no oil on the plugs or anaything. what is my next step? thanks in advance. s13 sr by the way.
