well, I just bought the boston RX67's and they don't fit. I have a 1992 Coupe SE w/ the active speaker system and they fit 6.5's in the back. Except every time i purchase some new speakers they don't fit right. Nissan made it really ugly and designed their own little system of mounting speakers. Does anyone have some good aftermarket 6.5 speakers that will fit in my car?? this is driving me nuts. any help?

i couldnt do it myself, i had friends take care of it making custom brackets.

it still rattles back there, and the shelf cover is a real piece of shit too.

Your going to have to cut the metal openings to fit most aftermarket speakers. If you go that route, you might as well cut the holes larger and fit 6x9s.

well what im planning on doing is just getting some regular plywood and cutting it to fit in the oem rear shelf and just drill holes where the new aftermarket speaker will be mounted.

i hate how it shows the grills on the rear i like the clean look of how my b14 is and i will just lay some carpet over it to avoid anyone seeing what kind of speakers i have and breaking in my car
