so i'm removing the coolant lines for the turbo from my s14 sr and am trying to plug them up. How does one goes about plugging them up. I've tried to find bolts at the hardware store. There is a hole through the bolt and i've tried sealing it up with something. But i don't think it's really that safe. I know someone has to know the answer.

try and find a cap nut and fill it with silicone and theread it on over the banjo bolt that might work. i have used it on power steering lines during a motor swap !

Home Depot has an endless supply of bolts.

You can goto a hardware store such as Home Depot/Hardware and pickup water line plugs, they are little green plugs available in various sizes.

All the banjo bolts for the water lines on the S14 T28 are 14mmx1.5.

What you could do is buy an Earl's 14mmx1.5 to -6 AN fitting, and then buy an Earl's female -6 AN cap. It'll cost you about $3 for a pair of caps and $4 per fitting. Nice way to decorate your block, and you'll have -6 AN fittings ready in case you want to run braided water lines later on.
