I have a 96 240 with the s14 sr20det with minor upgrade and was wondering if the greddy large oil pan is a good investment and if its worth the extra lubracation

For one thing it is cast aluminum, thus if you hit something it will shatter and all your oil will go byebye. Thing about the stamped steel stocker is if you hit something it'll just dent like fuck and the oil pick up will be effected anyway causing oil starvation..Its a decent option for cheap extra oil but there are better options such as an oil cooler or an upgraded crank scraper which will ensure more oil is available to the pickup. Personally I'm getting the crank scraper to work in addition with my Greddy oil pan.
ALSO make sure if you decide to get the Greddy get the Greddy, my knockoff literally LEAKED THROUGH the casting because it was so poorly done. Fuck yeah...
