wuhz up guys, i have a little (or a big) problem with my car. Its a 95 240 with a s14 sr20 swap. Yesterday after class i went to start her up and I heard a sound that sounded like boost leak. I found the leak and it was no big deal so just drove off. i drove the car for about a mile and i made two turns. I proceeded to make a left, but my steering wheel wouldnt turn, so i forced the wheel to turn. It made a loud popping noise. I got out and checked on the sound and i noticed that the turbo heat shield was sitting on top of the 'steering rod' (the rod that is extended out from the firewall. Everytime i turn the steering wheel the rod would push on the heat shield which would move the engine around. So do you guys think it is the engine mount??? Or is there another explaination for what is happening?? I want to get this car running as soon as possible, so any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance!
